“Austin Unbound” documents this Deaf man’s choice to get a double mastectomy. Austin is trans, but identifies as a straight man. His family, friends, and community support his goal for the acceptance and normality he deserves. Austin’s charm and compelling personality show a direct and honest view of the struggles he has championed to finally get the surgery.
