The Philadelphia Film Society and Screenwriting Instructor, Nanci Gaglio, are excited to present the next step in our filmadelphiaEDUCATION screenwriting courses. This new workshop is designed to be interactive and motivating, which will assist and encourage students to write their stories with all of the necessary components to take them swiftly through the first act of their screenplay. Topics and exercises include how to generate a wealth of story ideas, 3-act structure, character arcs. The workshop is driven by the basic fundamentals, and covers genre, structure building, dialogue, how to write moving pictures and much more. This course makes writing FUN and promises to inspire those who have a movie in their minds, but need to get it on the page, as it simplifies what is normally a difficult process. Motivation, support, camaraderie, and feedback are inherent through the course. Be prepared to work & enjoy!

Session 2 will meet Tuesday nights from 7:00pm-9:30pm:
October 25, November 1, November 8, November 15, November 22, November 29

Registration is $360 and includes course materials. PFS Members and previous filmadelphiaEDUCATION attendees can enroll for the discounted rate of $300. (Individual classes will not be available for this workshop. Each session will accept no more than 25 participants. For payment plan, please contact Parinda Patel at 267-239-2941)
