As part of Nantucket Preservation Month, and in partnership with the Nantucket Preservation Trust, the Dreamland is screening a series of three films in June which highlight stories and issues that focus on issues relative to Nantucket and the preservation of its history, buildings and culture.

“Film montages to end all film montages” – Vanity Fair.  The documentary These Amazing Shadows, Official Selection of Sundance Film Festival 2011, explains the importance of the National Film Registry, an organization that protects films they deem culturally and historically significant. The filmmakers interview some of the biggest directors of their time including John Lasseter, Rob Reiner, and Christopher Nolan.
