ABOUT THE FILM

"Astonishing. [A] remarkably intimate portrait of female youth on the verge." —The Guardian

Filmed over the course of three years, "All this Panic" follows Ginger and Dusty, sisters growing up in New York City, along with their friends and classmates as they navigate the pivotal juncture between adolescence and adulthood.

Hook ups, school work, sexuality, friendship, the party scene, troubles at home—director Jenny Gage approaches the hallmarks of the teenage years with a respectful curiosity that unveils a group of girls taking their tentative step into an uncertain future.

Gage and her husband, director of photography Tom Betterton, wrap All This Panic in a luscious aesthetic born from their background in fine art photography, a dreamlike quality fit for the big screen. Yet, the film lives and breathes during moments of remarkable intimacy and self-discovery, as it follows seven young women through the most confusing and exciting time of their lives.
