Greg is content to spend his senior year hanging out with his only friend Earl and making adoring lo-fi parodies of films found in his dad’s cinephile repertoire. However, things take a turn for Greg when his mother embarrassingly forces him to visit a girl he barely knows who has just been diagnosed with leukemia. Much to his (and her) surprise, the pair hit it off with a similar sense of humor and attitude towards life.
