A Tribute to Wes Craven (August 2, 1939 - August 30, 2015)

With 40 years of frights - and a few laughs - Wes Craven kept us awake at night, huddled under the covers afraid to fall asleep.  The Grindhouse dedicates October to the Master of Horror.

Scream

Someone has taken their love of scary movies one step too far.

"Clever, hip and scary!" - WBAI Radio, New York

"I liked it." - Roger Ebert

"This movie is a modern day classic.  Not only did it make Horror legitimate again for mainstream audiences, but it was just plain old fun.  If you love Slasher flicks, and for some reason haven't seen this movie yet, you really need to." - The Horror Club

Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has a lot on her plate.  It's hard enough to be a teenage, coming of age in today's world, let alone have a boyfriend (Skeet Ulrich) with raging hormones, a father whose life is one business trip after another, and still feel healthy after your mother was brutally murdered one year ago.

Just when things seem to be getting back to normal for Sidney and her friends, the small town of Woodsboro is once again plagued by a killer.  To survive they must follow the golden rules - don't answer the door, don't leave the house, don't answer the phone, but most of all, don't scream!

From the first name in suspense comes the last word in fear.
