The series breaks from strict vérité for a serious comedy, based on real-life events, that uncovers joy and light in dark places. Gene (Kentucker Audley) is a hapless anti-childhood obesity crusader who knocks on the door of a maternally neglected trust-funder named Titty (Olly Alexander). The two soon fall for the same mysterious woman, a troubled animal rights activist named Ginger (Joslyn Jensen), who they only know through her online persona. Gene and Titty set out to meet Ginger in person, uncovering hidden issues and bringing the three misfits into an unshakable bond. Allison Bagnall (director, "The Dish and the Spoon;" writer, "Buffalo '66") crafts a heartfelt comedy addressing weighty matters of friendship and intimacy through a trio of endearing oddball leads. The result is a truly original vision from a truly indie American filmmaker.

"Bagnall displays a deft touch for handling the internal and external turmoil of her characters as they desperately try to connect with one another." -Filmmaker Magazine

"Bagnall is talented, and the cast is intriguing: could we be about to see her have her crossover breakout?" -Indiewire
