“What are the things that climate change can’t destroy? What are those parts of us that are so deep that no storm can take them away?” These are the powerful questions director Josh Fox asks in the face of irrevocable ecological degradation. Traveling to twelve countries on six continents, Fox finds grassroots activists who have purposefully engineered positive local responses to impossible circumstances. Whether protesting a coal tanker with Pacific Islanders in a canoe-flotilla or dodging Chinese authorities as he documents Beijing’s pollution, Fox proves the collective power of action and optimism.

Press

"An environmental documentary that consists of roughly one-third doom-and-gloom to two-thirds wide-eyed optimism." - Variety
