In this offbeat comedy, an elderly engineer living a lonely monotonous life is assigned to repair an old turbine of his own design which inexplicably keeps breaking down. Out at the repair site, his chatty colleague mysteriously disappears, and Schmitke must head into the trees to stage a rescue.
