Beat the heat this summer and cool down with an underwater animation! Kids age 6-12 are invited to join the Coral Gables Art Cinema and artist Sarah Michelle Rupert for a collaborative stop motion animation workshop creating summer time scenes with cut paper, foam, felt and food items. Working in groups, kids with learn basic principles of stop motion animation, and together create and film an underwater movie. Kids will be making different characters and will have different roles on set for the action sequences.
The workshop will be located at the Coral Gables Museum across the street from the Gables Cinema. There is a $25 material and equipment fee. All materials provided.
