Description

Woody Allen’s signature film, Annie Hall is a romantic comedy that highlights the nerve racking “club” of dating. We jump into Alvy Singer’s (Woody Allen) life as he reflects on his most significant life events such as schooling and family. The main focus of his reflection derives from Singer’s most significant relationship, Annie Hall (Diane Keaton), a stylish nightclub singer and his most recent ex. These events become a comedic neurosis when Alvy reviews the events and memories of his relationship with Annie and why it ultimately failed. Annie Hall also features a slew known actors/celebrities including: Paul Simon, Shelley Duvall and Christopher Walken. Allen’s Jewish-oppressed, therapy-warranted stream-of-conscious saw multiple Oscar wins, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actress in a Lead Role.
