Our food system is broken. Let’s change it together.
20 years ago the lines between “Big Food” and food advocates were clear. But today, with the changing landscape of food and consumer shift toward more sustainability and transparency, companies are changing. Food advocates can be found at various large companies. Smaller advocacy groups are more open to working with these larger companies. What is happening – and what does it mean for our food supply? The Change Food Fest “Growing the Good Food Movement” will explore topics surrounding this change – from how business is changing to companies who are doing it right – to people who are creating massive change without the billions of dollars of investment money going into startups. Come explore the new food movement with us.
Change Food is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting and collaborating with those who produce and care about food in order to transform the environment in which our food is grown and help improve the way we eat.
Slow Food is an idea, a way of living and a way of eating. It is a global, grassroots movement with thousands of members around the world that links the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment. It is about food that is good, clean and fair. Slow Food North Shore is the local chapter of Slow Food USA.
