Description

Get fascinated by this journey into Afro-Cuban culture, full of dance and music. This documentary unwinds the complexity of many traditional and cultural movements in Cuba and brings a deeply rooted approach to the life of the descendants of historically deported African slaves as expressed in the Cuban Rumba. It explores how the Afro-Cuban religions imported from Africa, the Abakua, Congo and Yoruba, influenced present-day music and dance in Cuba and throughout the world.
