The Country Side of Care, a documentary by Sanne Hijlkema
The University of Montana School of Social Work and Garden City Harvest have teamed up to bring Missoula this documentary about care farming in the Flathead Valley. This film shows how some of the first care farms in the United States are influencing the lives of older adults, people with disabilities, families, and the community. It also tells the story of the farmers who host the care farms. Care farms offer ways for these populations to interact with nature, to engage in meaningful activities, and to find a place in their communities.
