Description

Dr. Baruch Milch is obsessed with giving his family a normal life. A strict disciplinarian, he has raised two daughters who are now full grown in late 1970s: Nana who is a brilliant liberal journalist, and the younger sister Sephi, an aspiring classical composer and singer. But when a Polish woman confronts Sephi after a concert in West Berlin and accuses her father of murder, the two women go on a quest to unearth some family secrets. Director Avi Nesher has been called “the heart and soul of Israeli cinema, who is not merely repeating his previous triumphs but challenging and surpassing himself.” - The Jerusalem Post
