Description

25 years ago, Quentin Tarantino unleashed a world of trunk shots, non-linear narrative, hyper violence, and profuse profanity on unsuspecting audiences with Reservoir Dogs. Now, a brand new 35mm print that premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival – where the film had its original premiere – is traveling the country and making a pit stop in Miami. Six men, perfect strangers to one another, carry out a diamond heist that goes awry and explodes into a bloody ambush. When the remaining crooks assemble at the arranged rendezvous point, they begin to suspect one of them is an undercover cop. But which one? Reservoir Dogs was a milestone of independent filmmaking, proving that high-quality films could be made outside the established Hollywood studio system. These screenings will be preceded by a recorded Q&A featuring Tarantino himself, his long-time producer Lawrence Bender, and actor Michael Madsen.
