Pilotlight Films is proud to announce its first screening of Broken Lines, a film that examines the life of a young man who was hell bent on destroying himself only to be saved, surprisingly, by a near-fatal car accident.

Broken Lines is a true story of fate, hope, and transcendence. With the level of deaths by addiction in our country today, this project offers a different perspective of the crisis. What is often overlooked are some of the underlying conditions that can lead up to addiction, such as ADHD, Tourette’s syndrome, impulse control, chronic anxiety or other genetic/social influences. We have all heard of tragic stories of those who have succumbed to drug overdoses and abuse, but very little from those who have survived. Broken Lines shares the unique insights of a bright and fortunate young man, who surprisingly survived his near fatal accident, and is able to tell his story with brutal honesty. (USA, 2017, 35 min., English, NR, DCP | Dir. Peter Scheer)
