He is best known for co-producing and for his cinematography in five Yellowstone wolf documentaries for National Geographic television. These production swere aired on multiple nature and geographic channels and include WOLF PACK, IN THE VALLEY OF THE WOLVES, and RISE OF BLACK WOLF.

Landis attributes much of his success to Chuck Jonkel and his "down home" (a BBC producer quote) festival whihc gave him the exposure needed to meet commissioners of TV documentaries. Bob Landis has lived in Montana since 1967 where access to Yellowstone National Park has been a strong component of most of his productions.

Bob Landis will give a keynote presentation on opening night at 5 PM, after WildFest. It is free and open to the public.
