Description

Original Title: La Melodie

Orchestra Class is an uplifting tale on the transformative power of music that features a dynamic cast of youth actors. Simon (played by French-Algerian comedian/actor Kad Merad) is a distinguished, but disillusioned violinist. He has recently gone through a divorce and found a job teaching orchestra in a working-class neighborhood of Paris. Arnold (newcomer Renely Alfred) is a shy and chubby student who is fascinated with the violin and discovers that he has real talent for it.

With Arnold's raw talent and the joyous energy of his class, Simon gradually rediscovers the joys of music. Together, they work to overcome numerous obstacles with a goal of an end-of-the-year concert at the prestigious Paris Philharmonic.
