Thursday, Friday & Saturday, March 14-16, the Nantucket Comedy Festival presents another edition of the Stand Up & Learn Winter Workshop and performance. The NCF team will be on island to conduct the workshops for Stand Up & Learn, a comedy education program for young people ages 8–18. An initiative of the Nantucket Comedy Festival, Stand Up & Learn enables island children to build self-confidence while learning to create and perform original stand-up comedy.
Workshops for the new session will take place in the Dreamland Studio Theater, 17 South Water Street, on Thursday and Friday, March 14 and 15 from 3:30–5 p.m. and on Saturday, March 16 from 10 a.m.–12 p.m., followed by a children’s performance at 12:00 p.m. put on by the workshop participants. Please sign up soon, as this class will be limited to a maximum of fifteen children. All children’s workshops are free to participants.
