Starring John Lithgow and Blythe Danner, Noble Jone's The Tomorrow Man seems, on paper, like a simple love story. Two strangers meet, find common ground, fall for each other and the rest becomes history. But for Ed Hemsler (Lithgow) and Ronnie Meisner (Danner), life is anything but simple. Ed devotes his time to preparing for the end of the world, while Ronnie is a compulsive shopper. In their small town in middle America, Ed and Ronnie connect as like-minds, both preparing for a worst case scenario. But after their paths cross, the worst case scenario might not be so bad after all.
The debut feature from writer-director Jones, The Tomorrow Man is a tender reflection on humanity that features powerful performances from master artists Danner and Lithgow alongside an outstanding supporting cast.
