Saturday, April 6, 7:00 p.m. The
Nantucket Comedy Festival presents the 2019 Stand Up & Learn Winter
Workshop and Professional Comedy Series.
Executive Director Kevin Flynn, Producer Karen Morgan and nationally
headlining comedians Mark Riccadonna and Dave Rattigan will be on island to
entertain local audiences and conduct Stand Up & Learn, a comedy education
program for people aged 8–18.

Mark Riccadonna
Mark Riccadonna is an amazing storyteller and comedian. He grew up an artsy jock outside of
Youngstown, Ohio and later moved to NYC in search of himself and happiness. He
pursued Theatre at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, joining "The
Company" after graduation. Soon after, Mark stumbled upon Stand-Up Comedy
and found success as a storyteller, performing throughout New York City, and
'on the road'. Mark currently performs for Armed Forces Entertainment, and has
entertained U.S. and U.N. Troops worldwide, performing in six continents while
working with his childhood heroes. Outside of comedy, Mark is an accomplished
actor and writer. Most recently Mark has a lead role in the feature film
"Days of Power" and is writing for Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update.
Dave Rattigan
Dave Rattigan has performed at Fenway Park, The Cape Cod Melody Tent, a
lumberyard, the lobby of an ad agency, and a library. His CD has been played on
Sirius Satellite Radio, and he’s performed on the syndicated Steve Katsos Show.
He’s done commercials for Olympia Sports and iParty, and performed in Dublin
and Kilkenny, Ireland and in Boston with Irish comedians Ardal O’Hanlon and Joe
Rooney. He’s performed at the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival (NH), Boston Comedy
Festival, Women in Comedy Festival, and Salem Comedy and Spirits Festival, and
shared the stage with Bill Burr, Jeff Dunham, the Beach Boys, Steven Wright,
and more.
