Description

"A colossal cinematic achievement." - Richard Brody, New Yorker

"Another thrilling exploration of the past and oppression this country is still too afraid to bring up. Peele wants us to talk, and he's given the audiences the material to think, to feel our way through some of the darker sides of the human condition and the American experience." - Monica Castillo, rogerebert.com

"Manages to be funny, freaky, and thrilling all at once, and marks another step forward in Peele's evolving sense of storytelling and craftsmanship." - Sandy Schaefer, Screen Rant

OFFICIAL SELECTION: SXSW Film Festival

Us stars Lupita Nyong'o as Adelaide Wilson, a woman returning to her beachside childhood home with her husband, Gabe (Winston Duke), and their two children (Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex) for an idyllic summer getaway.

Haunted by unexplainable and unresolved trauma from her past and componded by a string of eerie coincidences, Adelaide feels her paranoia elevate to high-alert as she grows increasingly certain that something bad is going to to befall her family.

After spending a tense beach day with her friends, the Tylers, Adelaide and her family return to their vacation home. When darkness falls, the Wilsons discover the silhouette of four figures holding hands as they stand in the driveway. Us pits an endearing American family against a terrifying and uncanny opponent: doppelgangers of themselves.
