MAY-AZAKI - Celebrate the "final flight" of legendary Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki at FilmScene this May. This special series features four films over four weeks, presented on the big screen from brand new digital prints: MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO (May 6, 8, 10 & 31), SPIRITED AWAY (May 12, 15, 17 & 31), HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE (May 20, 22, 24 & 31) and THE WIND RISES (May 24, 27, 29 & 31), which Miyazaki has said is his last film. All films presented in English versions.

See all four films with a special, commemorative "Flight Pass" for only $20 or $15 for members. Passes are numbered--only 70 available, starting Wednesday, April 30 at the Box Office. Individual tickets for all films are also available at regular price.

Sophie, an average teenage girl working in a hat shop, finds her life thrown into turmoil when she is literally swept off her feet by a handsome but mysterious wizard named Howl. But after this chance meeting, the young girl is turned into a 90-year old woman by the vain and conniving Witch of the Waste.

Embarking on an incredible adventure to lift the curse, she finds refuge in Howl's magical moving castle. As the true power of Howl's wizardry is revealed, and his relationship with Sophie deepens, our young grey heroine finds herself fighting to protect them both from a dangerous war of sorcery that threatens their world. HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE was the second Studio Ghibli film to be nominated for Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards.

Featuring the voices of Christian Bale, Emily Mortimer, Billy Crystal and Lauren Bacall.
