Open Screen Night presented and hosted by the Bijou Film Board.

A monthly open screen night to gather both University of Iowa students and community members in sharing the strange and fun things they produce, love, and obsess over. Up to 10 minute clips of anything out of the ordinary (obscure footage, found footage, or footage that's home or class-produced) can be submitted and screened.

Share a movie you made, a crazy clip you found, whatever you want -- it's Open Screen! Audiences will vote at the end of the night for the best submission. Prizes! $2 suggested donation for admission.

Submission Guidelines:

1. Please bring submissions on DVD (Blu-ray and QuickTime files on DVD are also great). Make sure burned clips auto-play without a menu interface and write on the disc if there are special audio issues.

2. Drop off your disc at FilmScene (118 E. College St on the Ped Mall) and sign-up on our Open Screen list up to a week before the show. Just make sure your name is on the disc!
