Book signing at 6:30pm, with introduction by Ellroy and film screening to follow at 7pm.

Join FilmScene and the Iowa City Book Festival for an exclusive presentation of the modern-day classic, L.A. CONFIDENTIAL, which introduced many filmgoers to the talents of James Ellroy and featuring an all star cast of Kevin Spacey, Guy Pearce, Russell Crowe, Kim Bassinger, James Cromwell and Danny DeVito. Attendees will receive a hardcover copy of Ellroy’s new novel, Perfidia, and have the chance to meet Ellroy and have their book signed. Ellroy then will speak before the screening about the film and the transition from page to screen.
