The GEM Theatre, a not-for-profit community theatreis pleased to present a new Halloween Classic Boo! A Madea Halloween. Trying to win the approval of her friends, 17-year-old Tiffany sneaks out of the house to go to a Halloween bash at a fraternity. The fun soon ends when police and the cranky, fast-talking Madea (Tyler Perry) arrive to crash the party. Unhappy with this sudden turn of events, the vengeful collegians decide to scare Madea and her cronies with a series of pranks. She soon finds herself under attack and on the run from an assortment of ghosts, ghouls and zombies on the scariest night of the year.

The GEM Theatre, a not-for-profit community theatreis pleased to present a new Halloween Classic The Ring. It sounds like just another urban legend -- a videotape filled with nightmarish images leads to a phone call foretelling the viewer's death in exactly seven days. Newspaper reporter Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) is skeptical of the story until four teenagers all die mysteriously exactly one week after watching just such a tape. Allowing her investigative curiosity to get the better of her, Rachel tracks down the video and watches it. Now she has just seven days to unravel the mystery.

The GEM Theatre is pleased to present Kenny Brawner in Ray Charles On My Mind on Friday, November 10 at 7:30 p.m.

This show brings the music and the story of the great Ray Charles to vivid life! Portraying Ray, master pianist/vocalist, Kenny Brawner leads his 12 piece orchestra and three sultry vocalists (a la the Raelettees), performing this American legends most popular hits: “What’d I Say?”, “I got A Woman”, “Mess Around”, “Georgia On My Mind”, a blazing hot duet on “Baby It’s Cold Outside”, and many more! The music is interwoven with monologues depicting how gospel, blues, jazz and country in?uenced Ray’s style, while also re?ecting on American social history, his epic battle with drugs, and his triumphant return home to Georgia. The Harlem based Brawner Brothers Band is know for its old school sweet soul music, blues, Latin, African and jazz modes – and volcanic funk. They have been featured with BB King and have dazzled in Blues Suite – live and on stage.

The GEM is pleased to present Christmas Songs and Stories with John Berry.

2016 ushered in John Berry a new outlook and a new beginning. The singer-songwriter rose to stardom on the country charts of the 1990s with such mega hits as Your Love Amazes Me, Standing on the Edge of Goodbye, and She's Taken a Shine. His annual Christmas tours brighten the holidays for thousands, as does his electirfying rendition of O'Holy Night.

During his star making decade, John placed 20 singes on the country hit parade, 6 of which went Top 5 with Your Love Amazes Me, scoring a #1 on the Billboard Country chart. He has earned multiple Gold and Platinum recoreds over the years.

Buddy (Will Ferrell) was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood among Santa's elves. Unable to shake the feeling that he doesn't fit in, the adult Buddy travels to New York, in full elf uniform, in search of his real father. As it happens, this is Walter Hobbs (James Caan), a cynical businessman. After a DNA test proves this, Walter reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with the childlike Buddy with increasingly chaotic results.This movie is rated PG.
