The Portland Motorcycle Film
Festival showcases motorcycle filmmaking, and dedicates all funds raised to
purchase of Air Fence and safety equipment, used at Portland International
Raceway, by the Oregon Motorcycle Road Racing Association. Each night includes two feature films and at
least two short films.
Friday:
Short 1: Dave
Roper #7 - A road racing iconoclast, and Isle of Man champion.
Feature 1: Ride
Report - Two friends, and 10,000 miles of adventures from Las Vegas to
Rio.
Short 2: Driven
To Ride - Female motorcycle riders break barriers and embrace acceleration.
Feature 2: Speed,
Mud and Glory - A sideways life, pursuit of the Speedway World
Championship.
Saturday:
Short 1: Follow
Your Fears - Dreams to reality, an epic motorcycle jump is a trophy for
the soul.
Feature 1: Somewhere
Else Tomorrow - Global adventure travel, eye-opening cultural
connections.
Short 2: Vincent Black Lightning - Animation brings the love story of
Molly and James to life.
Short 3: Tom Fugle – Aging bike-builder toils in obscurity and
struggles for recognition.
Feature 2: Out
of Nothing - Bellingham, WA racers quest for speed on the Bonneville
Salt Flats.
Pre-Party, Saturday, 4:00 PM: Meet the
directors of at least two of this year’s films, other surprises TBA. Be a special supporter of the cause, and
receive an insiders view.
