Each year at Free Arts NW, professional filmmakers teach middle school and high school students all aspects of film. The students then create their own short films - all within one incredible week! Free Arts NW provides the program at no cost to participants - 100% funding through donations and volunteer effort make this possible. Free Arts NW provides arts experiences that empower underserved youth to find their creativity, passion, and voice. Through arts education, collaborative projects, and ongoing mentorship, Free Arts NW cultivates individual artistic exploration while strengthening youth participants’ connections to their community.
