Do you know how many Abortion Clinics they have in the entire state of Mississippi? One. That’s right: one. Maisie Crow’s powerful film takes us inside that clinic to see up close their fight to stay open. The camera doesn’t stop there, however; she also follows April Jackson, a young mother of four children who is facing an unplanned pregnancy; and Barbara Beavers, who runs the Center for Pregnancy Choices and is a leader of the anti-abortion movement in Mississippi. The film intimately weaves these stories together for a first-of-its-kind look inside the issues surrounding abortion. -Jennifer Morris
