A young man from a remote Chinese village is left to fend for himself and his younger siblings in the wake of his parents’ departure. Money is tight and he turns to a life of petty crime in order to provide for them and the rising cost of his little brother's school tuition (though he hasn't been in weeks). The sister works as a maid at a hotel and soon finds her job is in jeopardy unless she sleeps with her boss. -Joshua Moore
