See the Oregon-made short films playing in the Hollywood Theatre at PDX! Free for members!
In February, the Hollywood Theatre opened a first-of-its-kind free microcinema at Portland International Airport. The state-of-the-art cinema features free short films by Oregon filmmakers - and it's only accessible to ticketed passengers who have passed through security.
But you shouldn't have to buy a plane ticket to see these great Oregon-made films. Join the Hollywood Theatre, House Special, Blue Chalk Media, and local filmmakers for a special evening showcasing the airport shorts program, as well as a brief presentation about the airport project, a short film about the airport by Blue Chalk Media, and a Q&A with filmmakers. The shorts program includes the world premiere of the new Pink Martini-inspired short from HouseSpecial; a circus-themed story of love gone wrong from animator Chel White; and a hip hop video from Portland rapper Mic Capes.
