When Bob and Nancy Griffith first met, she was watching him navigate a 53 foot cutter, moving it with the precision of a surgeon. It was love at first sight. Captivated by one another, they decided to spend their lives on the water, and with their children (from other marriages) in tow, made 20 ocean voyages in as many years, including three circumnavigations of the globe. What makes this incredible story even more unique is the fact that Nancy was also armed with a 16mm Bolex camera, and recorded the trials, tribulations, and at times the tragedies that they met on the sea. Narrated by Nancy Griffith and directed by Tyler Kelley and Araby Williams, Following Seas is one of the most incredible seagoing experiences in cinema history.
