Looking for something fun for the kids to do when Pelham schools
are out on December 13 th ? Join us for the Far, Far Away Show!
In preparation for the opening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi on
December 14 th , The Picture House Regional Film Center is hosting a
Star Wars-themed day camp for students in grades K-2 and 3-5.
Wear those costumes or Star Wars t-shirts and be a guest on the Far,
Far Away Show – our kid-friendly version of a late night variety show.
Not that into Star Wars? Be the host, a guest performer, or help out
on the production team and make sure we’re getting the best shots
on film. There’s a role for everyone! A final video of the show will be
made available a few weeks after the conclusion of the camp. The
video will also be included in our red carpet Spring Student
Showcase.
Camp begins at 9:00am, Wednesday, December 13 th , in the lobby
of The Picture House at 175 Wolfs Lane and continues until 12:00pm.
If your child would like to stay longer, pack a lunch, we’ll eat together,
and watch Coco in the Main Hall until 2:30pm.
Cost: $60.00 – Half Day
$90.00 – Extended Day until 2:30pm

Camp will begin with a brief group warm-up in the Main Hall shortly
after 9:00am. Grades K-2 will and 3-5 will separate into their own
groups to create and rehearse their variety show. After a mid-morning
snack break, the full group will meet again in the Main Hall to watch
and film their shows until 12:00pm. Noon dismissal will be from the
lobby. Students who are staying for the extended day will eat lunch
together in the lobby (fully supervised) and stay for the 12:30 showing
of Coco in the Main Hall. Extended-day students will be dismissed
from the lobby at 2:30pm.
