Description

Independent male hair stylist Aldo lives in the Echo Park neighborhood of LA. After placing a do or die bet on a basketball playoff series, Aldo gets in deep trouble with an underground loan shark. Reminiscent of 1970’s American cinema, Aldo stands on its own as an impressive example of modern independent filmmaking. (Dane Mazzei, playing Aldo, is a trained hair stylist.)

Featuring a wonderful variety of trained and non-actors (many of who are residents of the neighborhood). Within the framework of a story outline, Director Ross Kolton improvised each scene, allowing actors to create the most natural moments possible. Co-starring Jon Abrahams (Meet the Parents, Outside Providence), Patrick Brennan (Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, The Black Donnellys), and Nicole Simone (Glee).

Jude has spent the majority of life haunted by relentless anxiety and an unnamed fear. Is the origin of this condition from a traumatic drug-induced experience of his youth? Exhausted and not knowing where else to turn, Jude seeks help from an energy healer. Their meeting draws him into the darkest recesses of his psyche, as Jude learns that the truth may be harder to accept than the actual fear itself. Closure focuses on the effort to understand our most elusive and insurmountable fears and actively confront them. This award-winning film was an official selection at over 20 film festivals worldwide.
