Description

The 48 Hour Film Project blasts its way back into the Hollywood Theatre on August 6th & August 7th. Each screening features 14 different films by some of the area’s most daring and creative filmmakers. This is the only chance to see these films on the big screen-the way they were meant to be seen. Get your tickets today!

On August 1, dozens of teams from the Greater Portland area took the challenge to make a movie in only 48 hours. They drew their genres from the cruel hat of fate, and were assigned the same character, prop, and line of dialogue to include in their films. The always entertaining and unpredictable results of this pressure cooker of creativity are not to be missed! Each screening will be closed out with a short Q & A with the filmmakers, as time allows. And, don't forget, YOU the audience, determine the coveted Audience Favorite Awards for each screening group!

There is guaranteed to be something for everyone, so come on out and see what everyone is talking about!
