3rd Friday Theatre Play Workshops are available to children ages 4-13 from 5-8pm at Talespinner Children’s Theatre on the 2nd Floor of 78th Street!  As long as your young one is able to use the restroom independently and does not need medication administered by TCT staff, you are free to roam the building and visit the dozens of galleries and vendors of local artists with an adult beverage while your kid(s) are upstairs with us!

How does it work?

You may sign-up in advance or sign-up as you walk-in!  Pay by the hour, $10/hour/kid.  Once you have signed a waiver, you are free to leave your young one(s) as you wander the 4 floors of offerings at 78th Street Studios!

Who am I leaving my children with?

Talespinner Children’s Theatre is Cleveland’s only professional theatre company where every single production is designed thoughtfully for children.  TCT also has the stated goal of being the most accessible theatre in Cleveland, so all of our productions, classes, and spaces are designed to serve those who may not always find success in traditional programming/spaces.  TCT staff have all passed BCI & FBI background checks and receive regular ongoing training in child development, engaged pedagogy, and culturally responsive methods.  

What will my children do?

Participants will have the opportunity to self-select from a range of activities and choose their own path as they make their way through the different stations and activities we have set up for them.  Activities will include acting, singing, dancing, musical, visual arts, and media arts activities.  Each session will center around a different terrain, and the types of animals who live there.
