Trophy Husband is a comedic portrait of failed actor and stay-at-home dad Sam, who struggles with his identity and direction in life as he and his wife prepare for the birth of their second child. Sam's day-in-day-out of drudgery is shaken up on one wild night with his brother Tim in hipster Brooklyn. Shot on location in their homes and haunts in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, co-directors Sam Rosen and Nat Bennett play versions of themselves and enlist their friends and family to craft an unusually lifelike portrayal of a modern urban family's daily struggles.
