Saturday, April 7–9. The Nantucket Comedy Festival presents the return of
the Stand Up & Learn Winter Workshop and Professional Comedy Series,
sponsored by Tricia Quick. Executive Director Kevin Flynn and will be on
island to conduct the season’s second workshop for Stand Up & Learn, a
comedy education program for young people ages 8–18. Also, nationally

After great success in our
workshops, we are excited to start a new round of sessions--not to mention that
we are building a special Stand Up & Lean instructional video! An
initiative of the Nantucket Comedy Festival, Stand Up & Learn enables
island children to build self-confidence while learning to create and perform
original stand-up comedy.

the Dreamland Studio Theater, 17 South Water Street, on Thursday and Friday,
April 7–8 from 3:30–5 p.m. and on Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m.–12 p.m.,
followed by a children’s performance at 5 p.m. by the workshop students.
Please sign up soon, as this class will be limited to a maximum of nine
