The New Jersey based funsters Bud Abbott and Lou Costello are one of the greatest comedy duos of all time. Their work spanned vaudeville, stage, radio, television and of course, film, where they were among the top box office draw of wartime Hollywood. Film historian and filmmaker Glenn Andreiev returns to the Cinema with rare film clips, cherished classic Bud and Lou moments, and fun movie facts, whipping up an evening class even Stinky and Mr. Bacciagalupe would not want to miss.
Glenn Andreiev is a Long Island based filmmaker whose work has appeared on CNN, TruTV and The View. He has taught film history at the Cinema, local libraries, the Northport VA, and he writes for filmsinreview.com. He has just completed his latest film, Lost Emulsion, a documentary on lost films and film preservation.
