Description

Director Lee Kyoung-mi Attending

Determined to become a politician, former news anchor Jong-chan has fought to secure the Korea Party’s nomination in Daeson, readying to battle lawmaker Noh Jae-soon (Kim Eui-song) in the coming election. Things take a turn for the strange when his daughter Min-jin suddenly disappears. To her mother’s horror, Jong-chan decides to wait a day before officially reporting her missing, fearing that the scandal will rock this already leaky boat. Min-jin’s anxious mother Yeon-hong takes matters into her own hands by going to the police and investigating on her own, hunting through her daughter’s emails and sketchbooks, obtaining police records, and talking to the girl’s teacher Son So-ra, and closest friend Mi-ok. When her investigation uncovers a darker side to local politics, no one is spared, in this moody and tense sophomore feature by Lee Kyoung-mi, co-written by Park Chan-wook.
