Description

Kaleche awakes and finds herself in a large plain, unable to remember anything. Walking, she comes upon a group of strangers wandering through Kati Kati, a resort, who are themselves confused and disoriented. And yet, they are not concerned—anything they want they write down on a piece of paper, and it arrives the next day. Soon, it dawns on them that they have all died, and are now waiting in a strange afterlife, waiting for what, they don’t know. Thoma, who helps guide the dead, works to help them reconcile their past and dig into their shattered memories. But the arrival of Kaleche has suddenly burdened Thoma with feelings he has not encountered in a long, long time, and their emotional connection has repercussions for everyone.

“A genuinely surprising film…” — Cinema Scope
