Join Ben Model for four fantastic shorts featuring the eternally hilarious comedy duo, Laurel and Hardy, including the legendary and long-lost THE BATTLE OF THE CENTURY

Join us for an evening of famed comedy duo Laurel and Hardy’s earliest and funniest works, including the legendary and long lost short The Battle of the Century. The two-reel short featuring their epic pie fight scene, long available only as an excerpted fragment, has now been near-completely restored, and is revealed as one of their finest films. Film Critic Leonard Maltin has called this film his 'holy grail' of lost and rediscovered comedy gems. In Putting Pants on Philip, American J. Piedmont Mumblethunder (Hardy) welcomes his kilt-wearing nephew Philip (Laurel), from Scotland. A trip to the tailor to outfit the lad in a proper pair of trousers does not go smoothly. From Soup to Nuts stars Stan and Ollie as waiters for a posh dinner party, which soon devolves into another fine mess. In Wrong Again, Stable hands Stan and Ollie get wind of a $5,000 reward for the return of the stolen "Blue Boy," which they take to mean the thoroughbred of that name in their care. In fact, the reward is for the famous painting. When they show up at the art collector's mansion with Blue Boy in tow, things take a surreal, hilarious turn.
