Come to the Cinema and trace the incredible career of this Hollywood legend, who performed well into her seventies, with Film Historian Glenn Andreiev.

In 1930, the haunting The Blue Angel opens in movie theaters, and the world goes crazy for its husky voiced, long legged star Marlene Dietrich. Discover her multi-genre work with such film directors as Josef von Sternberg, Billy Wilder, Alfred Hitchcock, Orson Welles and Fritz Lang. Learn about her "battle" with Adolf Hitler. It's a fun, fact filled evening about a woman who took the word "actress" to higher levels.

Glenn Andreiev is a longtime Long Island filmmaker and film historian. He has lectured at the Cinema Arts Centre, local libraries, the Northport VA, and at School of Visual Arts, where he holds a BFA in Film.   His work as a film-maker has appeared on CNN, TruTV, Newsday and The View.  His latest film is the documentary The Wendy Wild Story.
