The life of Long Island native Wendy Andreiev (Wendy Wild), a leading, iconoclastic, funny, creative force in New York’s punk/new wave movement of the late 1970’s and early 1980’s.

Wendy Wild was a dynamic pink/glam performer in NYC'S Lower East Side during the 1980's.  She helped form unique, iconoclastic bands such as Pulsallama (An all-girl percussion band) and Das Furlines (which combined punk and polka).  She performed with such NYC celebrities as The Lady Bunny, Ann Magnuson and the legendary John Sex.  Her brother, film-maker and film historian Glenn Andreiev has created this detailed and entertaining documentary about Wendy's meteoric life, and the equally wild Lower East Side. (USA, 2017, 50 min., PG, English | Dir. Glenn Andreiev)
