To save her family from being homeless, her father dying from a heart condition, and herself from being married off to their landowner, Mayen (Kim Chiu) desperately agrees to the offer of a Chinese matchmaker for a huge amount of money. However, in exchange, Mayen must submit herself as a Ghost Bride to a wealthy but dead Chinese man, Xu Jian Rong.
This deal, however, happens to be a deadly curse when Xu Jian Rong’s ghost becomes jealous and possessive of Mayen. It begins to take a toll on her and on each men close to her, including her family. To save them from death, she has no choice but to travel to Nepal to conjure the powers of old Tibetan Monks in an attempt to end the curse and face the final and most defying battle against the ghost of Xu Jian Rong.
