Please join us for a special Global Affairs Program featuring experts on water, climate, agriculture and food security. Our Distinguished Speaker and a local panel of water experts will explore the range of issues surrounding water from climate to restoration, politics to policy, global to local.
This special Distinguished Speakers Program sponsored by the Qatar Foundation, and co-sponsored by Stockman Bank, features a keynote presentation from Dr. Hussein Amery, a Middle East and global water expert on water and food security. Following Dr. Amery's special presentation, a local panel that includes Dr. Nick Silverman, Dr. Mehrdad Kia, Charles Curtin, Executive Director of the Blackfoot Challenge and others, will share their insights on on water, climate, agriculture, and food security. Local experts will join Dr. Amery to explore in depth, the issues and implications of water on local economies, agriculture, food and water restoration. The panel will be chaired by MWAC President Emeritus, Robert Seidenschwarz.
