Ripple Effect -- A
Community Conversation About Housing
Nantucket's shortage of housing
that is suitable, stable and affordable to year-rounders presents
a multitude of issues for our community...which creates ripple effects
for us all. It is vital to the functioning of our community and for the
preservation of our environment, open spaces and historic neighborhood
character that we as a community appropriately meet the need and stay ahead of
the requirements of M.G.L. Chapter 40B. The fundamental question is: what
is the best way to do this on Nantucket?
Join us for a short video followed by a community
conversation where the dialog is intended to answer questions, gather community
feedback, spark ideas and build momentum toward resolving the housing crisis in
ways that are locally designed and implemented.
