LET'S MAKE MOVIES WORKSHOP

This 8-week filmmaking workshop will teach the fundamentals of filmmaking, through basic step-by-step instruction on how to produce your own film; from pre-production to production to post-production. Our class will be divided into production teams of five students each, with a maximum total class size of 25 people. Each production team will produce and shoot a short film. The workshop will culminate when we screen these films at the Cinema, during the last class.

Peter Scheer, filmmaker, photographer and visual artist, lives in Dix Hills, New York. He is the president of PILOTLIGHT Films, a media development and production company. Peter received a BA from Long Island University, followed by a Pratt Institute Fellowship in Art. His photography, art and film works have been covered by Newsday, The New York Times, Life magazine, and other major publications. Visit PilotLight.tv
