SKY ROOM TALK Hosted by Glenn Andreiev

FILM NOIR SAMPLER

Monday, September 16 at 7:30 pm | Members $11 | Public $16

The Sky Room Cafe closes at 5 PM the evening of this event

A Sky Room Talk highlighting the giants of film noir- Humphrey Bogart, Richard Widmark, Ida Lupino, Burt Lancaster, Samuel Fuller, Stanley Kubrick, and more.

Spend an evening with tough mugs, femme fetales, double-crossed capers, and innocent "mugs" caught in a web of chaos. Film historian Glenn Andreiev returns to the cinema with a one night class on film noir. "Noir" is that popular movie genre that unravels compelling crime stories set mostly in a haunting black-and-white urban background. Film clips from classic noir thrillers and obscure noir gems fill the evening. (One clip, not found on commercial home video release, will be presented in 16mm) If you enjoy the truly dark side of classic cinema- this is the class for you.
